The Performance Map

Performance Map screen

The Performance Map section is the main modelling area of Realisor 3. This is where you create your business model.

In the left hand side toolbar you have the Performance Map Tools. This tool bar can be displayed or hidden using the arrow at the top of the Tools strip. In here, there is a Node Groups section, which displays the Categories and Groups that you have created, the list of nodes and backgrounds that can be dragged onto the canvas, the list of Business Nodes and Bucket Nodes (to be covered in another entry). These sections can be expanded or hidden by clicking on the drop down arrow on the left hand side.

The right hand side toolbar, you have the Performance Map details. When you click on a node and expand this tool bar, you will see information about that node and have the ability to add and edit data, change the visual appearance of that individual node and where applicable view and edit the metric formula.

There are five tabs within the ribbon menu of the Performance Maps screen, each containing different functionality. The functionality contained within these tabs will be covered in separate blog entries but for an indication of how the functionality works, hover over the buttons within the tabs and tool tips will appear.
