Navigating Realisor 3 Beta

Navigate your way through Realisor 3 using the left hand side tool bar. Within the left hand menu (which can be expanded/collapsed using the arrow at the top), you will see the list of the different sections in Realisor 3. Each of these areas will be covered in more depth in their own posts.

On loading a document in Realisor 3, you will see a searchable list of all the items contained within that document, from the Maps to Items and Resource Needs. You can search and select from this list to navigate to the item you wish.

Create your business model or a freestyle view in the  Maps area. Click Maps and select your Map from the list that appears to load the modelling canvas. Here you can add items and connections to build your model.

Using freestyle views allow you to present different views of the map for different stakeholder groups, pick out important nodes for certain users or simply want to work on a certain portion of the map without the visual clutter of other nodes.

Map Items can be viewed and amended in the Items screen. Here you is displayed a list of all your items, where you can add data and change the default name and appearance of these items to suit your modelling style or the preferred visuals of your client.

Use the Metrics view to see and search a list of your metrics and create new universal metrics.

Plans section where the model is turned into a plan over time, saying when things are done, the resulting costs and expected benefits.*
